First Working Group Meeting for the National Cooling Strategy

The Royal Scientific Society in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment held the first meeting for the National Cooling Strategy Working Group. The meeting aims to present the objectives of the National Cooling Strategy and National Cooling Action Plan.
The Working Group kickoff meeting was held on the 3rd of May to discuss the set up of the working group and their roles and responsibilities. Also, to determine types of information and data needed. Finally, to know what type of information each organization is able to provide.
The hybrid meeting held in the Royal Scientific Society was in the participation of the NCS team (Guidehouse, OKO Recherche, and UNDP) and the working group members.
COOL UP team provided an overview about the program and the national cooling strategy vision and mission and expected outcomes. Furthermore, The roles and responsibilities were elaborated in addition to the sector's scope and data needed.
A discussion has been conducted with the participants at the end of the meeting to agree on the next steps and to know types of data that could be provided by them.
