The PT868 is the most powerful portable liquid flow meter available. It measures flow from outside plastic, metal or concrete-lined pipes non-intrusively, so there's no pressure drop, leaks or contamination.
The PT868's man/machine interface is the most advanced of any available flowmeter. Using the meter's large LCD and keyboard, the user has access to volumetric and energy flow rate, totalized flow and trend data, all in alphanumeric and graphic formats. It even has a built-in waveform oscilloscope function for diagnostic purposes.
Accuracy is typically 1 to 2% of reading with clamp-on and better than 1% with wetted transducers. Range is 0.1 to 40 feet per second, for a turndown ratio of 400 to 1. Current or voltage and RS232 outputs are standard. Optional thermal or impact printers are available. Measurement is obstruction less, causing no pressure drop, and is no contaminating. The TransPort flowmeter comes in an all-inclusive carrying case.
