Green Universities Project
This project aims to institutionalize sustainable concepts within Jordanian universities structure and processes.
Encourage and empower students and staff toward making changes in their universities that will lead to environmental sustainable campuses.
Utilize social marketing methodology to foster sustainable behaviour choices of the university community and the local people in the surrounding communities.
Types of Services Provided:
- Organize workshops and training sessions for targeted universities.
- Educate students in the universities on related EE issues
- Identify energy measures in selected buildings in the universities with the participation of interested students
- Install pilot solar water heaters
- Install pilot PV systems
- Utilization of LED lamps instead of fluorescent lamps
