RSS wins the Energy Globe Award 2023 for the Biogas Pilot project in Zaatari Refugee Camp
RSS/NERC was granted the Energy Globe Award, from The Austrian Embassy, for the implementation of a Biogas Pilot project in the Zaatari Refugee Camp. The Project presented a solution to many challanges faced by the local community including energy security, environmental and social issues. Transforming waste to energy (Biogas), the pilot is capable to treat 2 - 4 tones of organic waste a day, and is integrated with an elerical generator and gas treatment and storage systems.
